General Dynamics Staff Charity Hockey Game
In early 2010, General Dynamics Canada held their annual staff charity hockey game in support of Canadian Forces families. The event raised a total of $1,200 for the Canadian Hero Fund scholarship program.
In a letter to the Canadian Hero Fund, General Manager David Ibbetson wished the charity continued success serving Canadian military families. General Dynamics Canada shares a close relationship with the Canadian Forces with many of its employees being Veterans and Reservists. The company has received recognition for their outstanding support for Reservists by the Canadian Forces Liaison Council and the Chief of the Defence Staff.
