    About Our Scholarship program

Over 150 Canadian soldiers have given their lives in the last 8 years, and nearly 100 children have lost their hero. The first project of the Canadian Hero Fund is to honour the memory of these soldiers by looking after those they loved most. Our goal is to raise 2 million dollars to provide scholarships for the children and spouses of fallen soldiers. These scholarships go towards tuition, residence, textbooks and other costs associated with post- secondary education. By giving education, we can help keep their dreams alive.

    What We've Accomplished

    What sets us apart

We are an all volunteer organization. The Canadian Hero Fund is run entirely by volunteers with no paid staff or expensive office space. By keeping costs low, we ensure that your donation dollars go where they’re supposed to. See our financials >

We were founded by students. We aim to provide the same educational opportunities that we were fortunate to have ourselves. With student chapters at campuses across Canada we are constantly engaging young people in our cause. More on student chapters >
